MUUMFILMS is an independent film and audiovisual production company working between Switzerland and Portugal.

We recognise cinema's ability to touch dimensions of human experience that cannot always be expressed through words, that cannot be felt in a lifetime of real life.

The poetry of time, silence, bodies and spaces is embraced, along with the way images can evoke emotions, create meaning and bring us closer to realities beyond our own.

Our aim is to tell stories that invite audiences to feel beyond the image, experience and discover different ways of empathising with the world

We develop and produce fiction, documentaries, architectural films, and remains open to other creative projects.
